HYDRO METEO CENTRE | BOOK OF 25TH ANNIVERSAIRY

For the 25th anniversary of the HMCZ, a book for this jubilee was to be made. Finding its roots after the water emergency disaster in 1954.
Concept and design is based on the complexe order of the institute and the variety in moments they came across.
HMCZ is there to know; what the Northsea is about to do.

The constant factor of messurements together with the situations that jump out by the sea itself.
The text is placed in a grid which represents 24 hours per day. Within these hours there are three important moments of corresponding the information further. Among these, there is the sea flowing and going unexpected over the expected. The height of the waterstand is an important factor, which we brought back to the representing colors out of the animations used by programmes. Sikko @ VormVijf, The Hague.
